Where are you located?

I am based at Rise salon in Ojai, however I am happy to provide house calls for anyone within the LA + Ventura Area at an additional cost.

Is there Parking

There is a shared parking lot + ample street parking

What is the cancelation / no show policy?

If for any reason you need to reschedule your appointment, I ask that you give 24 hour notice. Last min cancelations will be charged 50% of their scheduled service.

What if I am running late?

On the day of your appointment please do your best to arrive on time. If you are running late please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you. However if you are excessively late please be aware that we may have to reschedule the appointment.

What form of payment do you take?

Cash + Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, & American Express) Personal checks are not accepted.

How Do I know If I need a Colour Correction?

If you are unsure of what colour service to book to reach your desired goals, please feel free to book a complimentary consultation at Rise, if you are unable to stop by the salon a head of your appointment we can have a consultation via email. Be sure to send inspiration photos as well as photos of your current hair colour under natural light.

Please note if you are in need of a color correction for a drastic change we may need to spread out your colour correction into 3 sessions, to ensure we maintain the integrity of you hair.

What is Gender Fluid Haircuts?

I believe in equal pricing for women + men / girls + boys. My haircuts are priced based on stage of life + length of hair. For example kids under the age of 12 both girls + boys will be $30, for adults anyone with short hair under 4 inches (men’s cut or a woman’s pixie cut) will be $50

Why are trims + cuts the same price?

Whether we are cutting half an inch or several, the time of the service from wash to cut + style remains the same.

How should my hair be when I arrive for my service?

Come as you are, I love to see your hair in its natural state to asses your hair’s specific needs. For color + styling services please arrive with clean or previously washed hair ( about 1-2 days prior) for best results. If there is excessive oils on your scalp + hair it can impair optimal results. Color may not saturate properly + special event styling will not last as long. If arriving with hair that needs to be washed prior to service an additional charge will be applied to service total.

Is the color you use free of harmful chemicals?

Yes! I use a color line that is free from Ammonia, Resorcinal, and PPD.

Do you use bleach?

Yes, the Lightner I use is ammonia free + infused with lavender + argan oils so it is much safer + very gentle on the hair.

 Bridal Policies

All Bridal inquiries require a Trial appointment.

Trials are $100 per hour ($50 for every additional 30 mins.)

In Home Trials, Union Day + Destinations are priced after consultation

Weddings outside of the LA + Ventura Area will have an additional travel fee

Cancelation Policy

If for any reason the client or a member of the wedding party wishes to cancel the booked event of contracted services, the client must give one week notice or 50% of the contracted amount will still be due the day of the scheduled service.

If for any reason the client or a member of the wedding party wishes to cancel a contracted service within 24 hours or day of booked event 100% of the contracted amount will be due the day of scheduled service.

(cancelation policy may vary for large Union Parties + Destinations)

Deposits may be required

All Cancelations must be made in writing.
